Scrambling to make it work

Since last Saturday, our CMS has been slowing down to a crawl. I thought it was my connection, but started getting emails from 401 students who couldn’t log on. After almost 24 hours of no access, I decided to try something new and put the discussion question in a blog.

I used 21Publish – that blog lets individuals create their own profile. That way students are in charge of getting to the blog. Once they completed their application I ok it through an email.

We’ll see what they think of working with a blog – it won’t have the same effect as a threaded discussion, but it gives them an idea of how blogs work and most importantly they’ve seen scrambling modeled.
