2009 on it’s way out

2009 is almost over … it’s hard to believe how quickly it flew by. As I sit here having just finished my annual report, I’m amazed at all I’ve completed – presentations, articles, and even a book proposal accepted (with my colleagues Sharon Peters, Rena Shifflet, and Darci Harland). But what I’ve most enjoyed this year is expanding my personal learning network.

This clown fish enjoys her home in the tentacles of the sea anemone – it’s an amazing example of symbiosis and an excellent metaphor for my experiences with those in my network … by the way, unlike the anemone, the tentacles of my network do not sting and paralyze unwanted visitors :-). Thanks all of you for sharing your knowledge, experience, and hope!
