Twitter in the Classroom
Like many educators, I’ve been using Twitter for several years as my main connection with my Personal Learning Network. What about using Twitter to extend my students’ learning? Here are several resources that reflect how educators are doing just that.
- Tom Barrett put together 31 Interesting Ways to use Twitter in the Classroom. I’ve used #8 with my doctoral students – I have them Tweet the purpose statement for their dissertations. Only 140 characters … so they have to be concise!
- Lee Kolbert created a Google Spreadsheet that teachers can record their Twitter classroom uses: Twitter w Students.
Well, that should be enough to get you going. If you run across any other resources, leave a comment .
